The heart of Tabaluga Foundation in Roadeș is the old parish house near the old fortified church. The land hosts both the main building (the former parish house) and a new modern building, nevertheless adapted to the architectural style of the village, which communicate through a large inner yard. The common areas and the administrative offices are in the main building, while the new building is a holiday home for children and includes ten spacious and colourful rooms providing shelter and refuge. The holiday home may host 14 underprivileged children together with their carers for periods of 10-14 days.
Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt helped building a wood heating system, a sun installation and a soil-based wastewater treatment system.
