After its reconstruction, the light-flooded building comprises 9 spacious family rooms and a great number of therapy rooms. Among other things, music and exercise therapy, art projects, discussion groups and remedial pedagogic horse riding are on offer. Traumatized children and families in difficult living situations have the opportunity to talk through distressful experiences together with fellow sufferers – and thus to gather new strength and courage. Four to five groups per year are sent there by the Peter Maffay Foundation.
